“In the middle of every difficulty lies opportunity”: Somraj Pathak (Allahabad Bank PO)

Myself Somraj, I don’t know whether success story gives any motivation or not but my failure story must motivate you. Have you failed in 30 bank jobs? I know your ans is “NO”..  so why crying after having any failure..fight back my bro & sis. Just check my failure list from starting..

Sbi clerk,2009
Allahabad bank clerk & po (2010)
BOB po(2010)
PNB po and clerk (2010)
Punjab & Sind bank clerk (2010)
Another 2-3 bank exams, I even could not remember the name.

After all these i got really frustrated. At that time neither my marks nor the cut off marks were disclosed. I believe none of the readers (including teachers of Bankers adda) of this post were fully aware of banking exam pattern at that time. It was tough, may be, as less number of vacancy in each of these exams. I said BYE BYE to bank and started working in private sector . In 2013, I appeared RBI clerk and grade B but result is as usual. In the mean time I again feeling bad having no job security so again thought of banking job.
Now In april,2015,  certainly I came to know about Bankers Adda. After coming from office each & everyday I followed whatever mentioned in Bankers Adda. Believe me, I did not do anything else. After that also failure comes but success as well as below

ssc cgl,ssc chsl 2015 failed
IBPS RRB,IBPS CLERK,RBI CLERK,RBI GRADE B, 2015— failed

IBPS PO–first success in written–clear prelims as well as main but failed in final result (thought to share my success story but OMG)
LIC AAO,NHB,SIDBI,NICL,NABRAD, 2016 –-again all failed in written..but did not gave up

SBI PO 2016– second success in written–clear prelims as well as main but failed in final result(thought to share my success story but OMG)
IBPS RRB,IBPS CLERK,IPPB,SBI CLERK,RBI , 2016 —failed
IBPS PO 2016—-AND i AM DONE

Thanks to my parents,my wife,GOD,my private organization job (which help me to expense 600rs or more for every exam) and BANKERS ADDA & Prasant sir. Friends, it was my dream target and I achieved. After working 10 hours in office, I read whole night. Do you also want to be po or clerk?? Leave everything and study. No need to read and practice lot of books,no need to go to coaching, just follow bankers adda daily and I know, next story will be yours. 🙂

My few tips:
I do not need to write detail tips as you are smart enough, thus you are here to read my story, also everyone has different strategy still

i> Remember my friends, you have to do high score(50% mark) either in GK or in ENGLISH unless you are too good in math or logic.
ii> Do not wait till last moment to read GK-CAPSULE. It will be fruitless. Read daily gk and attempt daily gk exams.
iii>Logical puzzle can  ruin your exam. Be cautious before attempt them.
iv>No guess work please.
v> Do not waste your energy to calculate cut off. Believe my friend, it can not be predicted by anyone.
Thankyou

“Failure is success if we learn from it”: Poonam Arora (Bank of Baroda Clerk)- 186

state- UP
Selection- Bank of Baroda, Clerk
Hello, friends.

From last many days I was thinking to write my success story.. and also one of my close friends suggested me to write it. It was not so easy for me to prepare for govt jobs...so many responsibilities were there on me. my family ..my son… I saw very tough time after my marriage..  just because my mom’s dream I started..n me too wanted to prove myself. I completed my graduation in 2009 and just because my luck I got married in 2010.. even I was not prepared for marriage.I wanted to be independent.. was blessed by a baby boy in 2012.. but that dream to be independent never left my mind.

So, I started self-study in 2013 for bank exams..gave a single IBPS clerk in 2013 n didn’t clear bcoz I was not aware of exam pattern. The real battle started from 2014.
SBI PO- not cleared
RRB CLERK- scored 167 but for interview cut off was 169 (for Aryavart Gramin bank)
IBPS PO- didn’t write bcoz my husband met with an accident
IBPS CLERK- qualified with 119 marks ….. final result- out
2015 exams-
RRB CLERK- MAINS QUALIFIED
INTERVIEW- 68 marks
final result- out by 5 marks
IBPS PO- mains out by 3 marks
IBPS CLERK- 144.75 marks from UP considered on RESERVE LIST
2016 exams- completely changed pattern
RRB CLERK- pre- out by 0.5 marks
RRB PO- mains qualified
final result- out
IBPS PO- out in mains
IBPS CLERK- mains out
disappointed with my luck.. but by god’s grace on 31st march 2017, I got BANK OF BARODA from the reserve list. When I saw my result tears came out .. bcoz it was my mom’s dream .. and my struggle was also for my mom. I wanted to make her proud of me.
will write IBPS PO this year for sure.
thank you, mom
thank you all my well wishers

After many failures success have its own beauty: Sarita Das (NIACL AO & CANARA BANK PO)

Never lose your hopes as you never know what the destiny have in store for you: Sarita Das ( NIACL AO & CANARA BANK PO)
Hello Friends,
My name is Sarita Das. I am from Guwahati (Assam) and I am a Postgraduate in Chemistry
I completed my post graduation in 2014. And immediately joined a school as a PGT chemistry teacher. For the first one year I was liking every bit of my work but soon I realized that this job is a monotonous job and I will continue doing the same thing for the rest of my life. Suddenly in May 2016, I took a decision to join a coaching center and start preparing for banking exams. But I merely used to go and come to the center without any self-study. The first exam of banking I appeared that year was SBI PO prelims and as expected I couldn’t even clear the prelims. But at that same time I cleared an exam for assistant chemist in a PSU and hence I left my preparation in between and started to prepare for my interview for PSU but unfortunately I couldn’t make through and also wasted 2-3 months.
I appeared in BOB and UIIC but again the same thing. I was developing a fear that I might not be able to ever clear any exam and have to go back to teaching again. This very thought propelled me to work even hard. But I was a kind of person who doesn’t believe in himself. I always thought that I am not suitable for competing on such a huge platform.
But somewhere in my mind, I had one thing that I need to clear at least one exam and get myself a job. Hence I applied for almost all exams and started preparing with the best possible way I can. Luckily my hard work was paid off and I cleared some exams. Following is the list of exams I cleared:
NIACL AO
IBPS PO (CANARA BANK)
IBPS Clerk (CANARA BANK)
RRB Scale 1
RRB Office Assistant
Syndicate  PO ( cleared mains didn’t go for interview)
Indian Bank PO (cleared mains didn’t go for interview)
IPPB  ( mains results awaiting)
And I have decided to join as AO in NIACL ( feeling very happy and blessed)
My exam strategy….
For gk computer, went through different capsules provided before the exams, daily gk updates. And for reasoning maths English there are a number of quizzes being uploaded. The huge variety of questions helps a lot. I have taken different career power tests and also practiced from other sites just to have an idea of difficulty level.
I wish all the very best to all who are appearing for different exams this year.Just be positive throughout and don’t give up if this is what you really want…….
And after all success after many failures has its own beauty………
