NITI Aayog and ABB India Sign Statement of Intent

NITI Aayog and ABB India signed a Statement of Intent (SoI) today to support the Indian government realize its ambitious vision of ‘Make in India’ through advanced manufacturing technologies that incorporate the latest developments in robotics and artificial intelligence.

The agreement was signed in the presence of Shri Amitabh Kant, CEO, NITI Aayog and Dr Ulrich Spiesshofer, CEO, ABB by Ms Anna Roy, Adviser (Industry), NITI Aayog and Shri Sanjeev Sharma, MD, ABB India.

MoU signed between DEPwD and ALIMCO for the Financial year 2018-19

Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD-Divyangjan Shashaktikaran Vibhag), Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) for the Financial Year 2018-19 yesterday. It covers major developments to be achieved in this year for the Empowerment of Divyangjan of the country. The MoU was signed by Smt Shakuntala D. Gamlin, Secretary DEPwD & Shri D.R.Sarin, CMD ALIMCO. On this occasion, Dr. Prabodh Seth, Joint Secretary, DEPwD & Smt Dolly Chakraborty, Joint Secretary, DEPwD were also present.

Ministry of Railways and MRVC sign an MoU for 2018-19

Ministry of Railways signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Ltd (MRVC), a Joint venture of Ministry of Railways and the Government of Maharashtra, under the administrative control of the Ministry of Railways. MRVC is implementing Rail projects on Mumbai suburban system under Mumbai Urban Transport Projects (MUTPs).

The MoU was signed on May 22, 2018 by Railway Board Secretary, Shri Ranjanesh Sahai and Chairman and Managing Director of MRVC, Shri R S Khurana and laid down the targets for 18-19 for various important activities of suburban projects.

The Union Cabinet chaired by chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has approved Implementation of a Comprehensive Telecom Development Plan (CTDP) for the North Eastern Region(NER) in Meghalaya at a total estimated project cost of Rs. 3911 crore to be funded by the Universal Service Obligation Fund (USOF) and approval of the enhanced cost of CTDP Project for NER for an amount of Rs. 8120.81 crore (Rs. 5336.18 crore already approved by the Cabinet on 10.09.2014).
