M Sathiyavathy
Union Public Service Commission’s charge was given to Labour Secretary M Sathiyavathy. Sathiyavathy is an IAS officer of 1982 batch under AGMUT cadre. Having rich and varied experience, she has worked in various key positions under the Government during her career course of over 35 years. She served ass first woman chief of Directorate General of Civil Aviation(DGCA). She also served as Joint DG in Directorate General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Controller, ISRO satellite Centre, Department of Space, Member secretary, Central Silk Board, Ministry of Textiles.
